CCL was incorporated in the wake of the 2007-2008 housing collapse and ensuing financial crisis. It took a strong vision to find success in such volatile times, and we have followed our convictions to consistent, steady growth. We have built an honest, open business with a team of local experts to help you with all of your needs as an existing or potential homeowner.

Our approach to business was formed during the ballooning of the housing bubble.  Dan Podesto and Jason Grote foresaw the crash.  They noticed loan officers that didn’t know their craft and focused more on profit than safe lending practices.  They saw that largely unqualified borrowers were buying homes from banks with risky loan programs.  Dan and Jason began to lay the framework for a new business, and when the bubble popped, they incorporated a new mortgage brokerage on the Central Coast.

Dan and Jason gambled that even in tumultuous times, Central Coast Lending could thrive by building an honest, efficient team of local experts who offered the lowest prices.  Our loan officers know their product, the housing market, and the economy, and help educate clients to make the best possible decision.  We even started a radio show on local radio station KVEC 920 to discuss real estate and home finance to help educate San Luis Obispo County homeowners.  Listen for Dan and Jason every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
